Ability Occupational Therapy complete Occupational Therapy / Aids and Appliances medico-legal reports. The report is based on an objective assessment of the client’s functional abilities in their home environment.
A clear understanding of the client’s health and level of function prior to injury/illness is obtained. Standardised screening tools are used to document severity of the disability experienced and to identify future rehabilitation needs.
Participation in life roles are considered such as community access, transportation, parent/carer, leisure, domestic tasks, gardening and home maintenance.
